This damper design replaces the function of jet fans within road tunnels. Depending on the blade’s position, the fresh air is supplied into the selected tunnel area or smoke / Co2 is exhausted to outside. The design enables high flow velocities within the blade’s gap, which leads to an ideal efficiency at smallest damper surface.
