Double plates ensure an utmost operation safety. Those consist of two plates with the same embossing pattern being welded together at the openings. That makes for a separation through double walls of both media, which are part of the heat exchange. A blending of the media in case of leakage is impossible, in case of any defect the media drains off through the pressure-less safety area between the double plates.
